We provide accountancy, bookkeeping, and related financial support services to UK individuals and businesses. The specific scope of services to be provided will be agreed in an engagement letter or service agreement prior to commencing work.
The information on our website describes our general service areas. It does not constitute a commitment to provide any specific service and services are always subject to engagement terms being agreed and any required due diligence being completed.
3. Engagement Process
Before we commence work, we will:
- Confirm the scope of services to be provided
- Carry out any required identity verification in accordance with anti-money laundering obligations
- Confirm our fees and payment terms
- Issue an engagement letter for your acceptance
We will not commence work until these steps are completed and the engagement is formally agreed.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect the services we provide
- Respond promptly to requests for information or clarification
- Keep us informed of relevant deadlines and ensure you contact us in sufficient time to meet them
- Review and verify the accuracy of any documents or returns we prepare before they are submitted
- Take responsibility for decisions made based on advice or information we provide
The quality of our work depends significantly on the quality and completeness of the information you provide. We cannot be responsible for errors or omissions arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us.
5. Our Obligations
We will:
- Provide services with reasonable care and skill
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality over information you provide to us
- Inform you of relevant deadlines within the scope of our engagement
- Comply with applicable professional and legal requirements
6. Fees and Payment
Our fees will be confirmed in the engagement letter. We reserve the right to charge for additional work requested outside the agreed scope. Payment terms will be set out in the engagement letter.
We reserve the right to cease work if invoices are not paid in accordance with agreed payment terms.
7. Confidentiality
We will keep confidential all information you provide to us in connection with our services, except where:
- We are required by law to disclose it (including HMRC and regulatory requirements)
- We are required to disclose it by a professional or regulatory body to which we are subject
- You have given us your consent to disclose it
- It is already in the public domain through no fault of ours
8. Anti-Money Laundering
As an accountancy service provider, we are subject to anti-money laundering (AML) legislation. We are required to carry out identity verification checks on clients and to report certain suspicious activity. We may be required to take certain actions without notifying you where required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you in connection with services provided under these terms is limited to the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.
We are not liable for losses arising from information you provided that was inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, or from your failure to meet deadlines or respond to requests for information in adequate time.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms of Business from time to time. Updated terms will be published on our website. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
